New York, NY.- The Small Business Development Center at
Rockland Community College hosted this year The 2012 Latin Business Spirit
Awards, during the important annual event, the Organization of Latino American
Entrepreneurs, Olé, the United States Small Business Administration, SBA, and
the NYS SBDC selected the Colombian raised Andrea Giraldo, owner of A&G
Trading as the new 2012 Latino Business of the Year.
Ms. Giraldo, based in Pearl River, NY, is a NY-WOMB certified (Women/Minority in Business), Olé member, and client of the Small Business Development Center which has counseled her along the way.
A&T Trading Corp. as it is known Andrea’s business, is a
specialty food distributor of Latino American food products founded in 2004
focused on facilitating the global access to natural, organic, and ethnic
signature foods. A&T Trading is today a fast-growing, successful
distribution company, still wholly-owned by her minority-owned and woman in
business Andrea Giraldo who this year was rewarded for her entrepreneurship
spirit.
